Clubo ("we", "us", or "our") operates a student ticket resale platform accessible via our mobile application and website at cluboapp.org. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your university email address (verified via Google OAuth), first and last name, and phone number.

Transaction data: When you buy or sell tickets, we collect payment information processed securely via Stripe. We do not store card details.

Ticket images: Sellers upload screenshots of tickets, which are stored securely on Amazon S3 and scanned by our AI verification system.

Usage data: We collect standard app usage data including device type, operating system, and in-app activity for the purpose of improving our service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and operate the Clubo platform, verify your student status, process payments, prevent fraud, and communicate with you about your account and transactions.

We use your phone number solely to send one-time passcodes (OTPs) for account verification and login. We do not use it for marketing purposes.

4. SMS / Text Messaging

By creating an account, you consent to receive SMS messages from Clubo for the purpose of account verification (OTP codes). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform: Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), Amazon Web Services (storage), and Anthropic (AI ticket verification).

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Ticket images that fail AI verification are deleted immediately. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at hello@cluboapp.org.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure token-based authentication, and restricted access to production systems.

8. Your Rights

9. Children's Privacy

Clubo is intended for university students aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
